Dear Sandhya,

I am working at andheri (E), and did not realize during my stay at andheri itself as a P.G. because the distance from andheri to office was just 6-8 mins, but when I shifted to dombivali with vague imagination of traffic ( that I can manage as so many people are traveling ) realized what is actual traffic ( it is so obvious that one realizes difficulties/issues when he actually experiences it …) Everyday thought comes to my mind to work from home whenever I see horrible traffic…

I was thinking to run this mission of working from home, which will be absolutely suitable for everyone and I strongly believe that everyone will like this including employer…but question is how to begin… I am working in IT industry and for me ( also 95% of office employees ) it is not at all necessary to go to office as I can do entire work from home…nowadays technology is such a advance that work from home can be easily possible.

Your point is valid that it will affect on employee performance and solution is only punishment like.. he must come to office for next 3 months if he failed to perform or did mistakes 3-5 times consequently..if he is doing mistakes or showing laziness… surely management will realize soon.. and they can take proper action ( each organization will be having different modus operandi ) …just imagine such a minimum traffic will be on road… and tremendous benefits due to less traffic and ( off course because of working from home ) but whole idea is depend upon everyone..

Do you have any view how to start… how to take this forward… as you are promoting Go-Green Technology…..?

It’s really great idea to go green and supporting the employees when they need . Also from corporate side a great move to focus on only productivity and going ahead in direction to retain good talents instead of losing them at trivial cost. But both should honestly value the good cause

How very true Amaeyanand! People in Bopal should have stopped the axing that was taking place! Don’t people staying around realise this is a big issue? Its the people who don’t consider such issues. They ignore things that are very important. They fail to understand that they are the ones at lost, and along with them, the species that live around them!
I don’t think even the government can continue the axing if the entire crowd stands up, just like we had the ‘Chipko moment’ in 1970s.

@vikas…steps, for biodiesel production from algae,
1. isolate some algae.
2. culture in BG11 , BBM, or gillards f/2 medium.
3. identify them.
4. screen the best species with high lipid content.
5. culture them in pilot scale.
6. harvest them.
7.extract the lipid.
8. esterfy. and your biodiesel is ready to run the wheel. few steps are left search some literature from internet…to get the knowledge.

alagaes are very rich source of lipid which are the main biodiesel compound latter transesterified to produce the biodiesel. And they are even very fast growing within 24 hours they once devide and most importantly they are found in everywhere in mud , pond , sewage, industrial effluents, animal far and can be grown in everywhere like sewage , wasteland , wastewater and efficiently and even algae reduce the CO2 level of envirnoment by capturing like green plants. So they do not need our cropland which we use for food production not very special delecious fooding, youn can cook them anywhere and they provide lots of things you cant even imaging, biodiesel, ethanol, agar, biofirtilizer, protein supplements and many more.
